Eugenia paintings by Fabian Perez.

Awhile back we saw beautiful photos of her sitting for the artist Fabian Perez. There are now five 16 x 12 acrylic on canvas paintings available at $18,000 dollars each. Also some limited edition prints will be available. These were not what I anticipated but if any of you have interest you can contact Anne Shirer at

Jenya by Perez. I said freebie. I don't know if he gave her one or just sent her a photograph of one.

Could be. Ya never know how an artist may feel about his muse. I do know this. The painting above, from her Facebook site, is a FAR superior likeness than the 5 that were sent to me last night. While all are beautiful, the facial features were not Jenya's. She just looked like some Spanish beauty to me.

This one is definitely her. This may have been the first. I would imagine as a painter it is much more difficult to capture a moment in time than it is for a photographer...and to duplicate that perfection nearly impossible.

Are you going to--hopefully--post the picture?. What I would really like are the photographs, or digital copies to the photograps. They ought to make those available to the poor folk.I mean, if they were to seel them, I would purchase, unless they were way to high. If a guy can command $18,000 for a painting that small, he must be very popular and have an impeccable art reputation.

No. I, unfortunately, am not. When I posted Jorge Kreimer's photos awhile back, hoping to sell more for him, it was not appreciated. I will not 'go there' again.

There is his website and Anne's contact information, which I provided earlier. That is how I reached her. They want to sell his art. I'm sure they'll respond to a request. I emailed from his site and they answered.

This painting looks nice, the photo resolution of it is not that good. $18,000? I think I need to paint her. I have always wanted to, but hesitated because of the lack of original material and I prefer to paint from life, but I may make an exception here.

The painting on her Facebook is a better painting of a young Jenya, I have seen the photo that came from, These look like her as she is today. This is an incredibly beautiful woman and any artist will be hard pressed to match her beauty on canvas. I'm willing to take a shot at it though. Whether I succeed or not, I can at least give it a try. Plus LA is not that far from my studio in Phoenix.

Go for it man. "The things we regret the most in life are those we never did."

The best likeness I have ever seen is the painting below by husband and wife Ukrainian artists Michaell and Inessa Garmash. The resemblance is uncanny. It is probably the painting to which you are referring. It has been on her Facebook. It gets a WOW from me.

Jeff,

That is the one, I really like this piece and actually the best I have seen of this beautiful lady. I paint in a slightly different style than the Garmash's do. Painting no matter what the style is like handwriting. No two are actually alike. I am not on this website to sell my work, so I am not sure how to tell you how to see my blog or my website, but my style of painting would work well using our lovely Jenya as the subject. I mean how could one go wrong. :-)

I look forward to seeing her when you finish. By the way if its instructional, I think I found the site. Wet?

If you are serious about hiring her to pose for you, I believe she is a member of Model Mayhem, which advertises itself as "where professional models meet model photographers." There are also painters advertising on that site, too. Anyway, just a selection. Why don't you post one of your works for us to see? I don't think anyone wold mind, Afer all plenty of folks have put their individual artistic concepts of her on this site in the past, such as the person who occassionally makes a Playboy cover of her.

Thanks DeMoN. I have not seen those. I really like the one of our lady. Here are a few of my pieces, the last one is close to being finished, Only the back ground needs to be finished in the last piece.

I am aware Jenya is listed on Model Mayhem, but I have an artist friend in LA working in the art/photography department doing work for Playboy also. So I think I have two possible ways of contacting her to hire her. I may do an oil sketch from one of her photos, just for the fun of it and not for sale. I will share it here

OK. This seals it. You MUST paint her. Those are really good. I'm sure she will inspire you to even greater heights. Even from a photograph

I'm sure that's what the Garmashes used. She even commented when it was 1st placed on her site. She thanked "whoever" painted the work. A clear indication she had no idea who the artist was. Your works are far superior to many I have seen on this site. I'm sure your interpretation will be great.
